Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Intern will provide targeted support to Kennon’s inventory management process. The intern will work on a focused project to analyze and optimize inventory levels, improving efficiency and reducing overstock/stockouts without altering existing purchase order workflows.
Main Responsibilities
Inventory Analysis & Optimization
Gather historical inventory and usage data for key items
Identify trends, seasonal patterns, and slow-moving or overstocked items
Compare current inventory levels against demand patterns and reorder thresholds
Develop a simple reporting tool or dashboard highlighting recommended adjustments
Develop and utilize measures of quality and performance.
Exemplify the company’s core values.
Sub-Responsibilities – Supplier Lead Time Analysis
Collect historical delivery data for critical suppliers
Identify patterns, delays, or inconsistencies in lead times
Summarize findings in a concise report with actionable recommendations
Collaborate with purchasing team to suggest adjustments in order timing or buffer stock

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity for handling small components.
