Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing setting. This includes CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, laser cutting machines, and waterjet cutting machines. The role involves ensuring that equipment runs efficiently, producing high-quality products, and adhering to safety standards. While we prefer candidates with relevant experience, we are also open to hiring individuals who demonstrate a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within our company.

Key Responsibilities:
● Operate Machinery: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, laser cutting machines, and waterjet cutting machines in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
● Monitor Production: Continuously monitor machine operation to ensure quality and productivity. Make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.
● Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications. Identify and report any defects or issues.
● Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs. Report major maintenance needs to the maintenance department.
● Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards to the supervisor.
● Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, maintenance records, and other required documentation.
● Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any issues that arise.
● Training: Assist in the training of new machine operators as needed. 

Qualifications:
● Experience: Previous experience operating CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, laser cutting machines, or waterjet cutting machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
● Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
● Skills:
○ Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, laser cutting machines, and waterjet cutting machines.
○ Strong attention to detail and quality control.
○ Basic mechanical aptitude.
○ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
○ Good communication and teamwork skills.
○ Basic math skills for measuring and calibrating.

Work Environment:
● Exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
● Use of protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, footwear, and hearing protection.
