Part-time bookseller

Do you love books, people, and creating meaningful connections in your community? We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Bookseller to join our team!

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older

  • Weekend availability is required

  • Retail experience is necessary

  • A passion for excellent customer service and connecting with customers through books

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently

  • Reliable, positive, and excited to contribute to an inviting bookstore atmosphere

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance appropriate for a customer-facing retail environment

  • Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and carry boxes of books (possibly up to 30–40 lbs)

  • Able to bend, reach, and move throughout the store to shelve and organize inventory

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist customers with recommendations and purchases

  • Maintain tidy, organized shelves and displays

  • Operate the register and handle transactions

  • Support store events and daily operations
