Do you love books, people, and creating meaningful connections in your community? We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Bookseller to join our team!
Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
Weekend availability is required
Retail experience is necessary
A passion for excellent customer service and connecting with customers through books
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Reliable, positive, and excited to contribute to an inviting bookstore atmosphere
Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance appropriate for a customer-facing retail environment
Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry boxes of books (possibly up to 30–40 lbs)
Able to bend, reach, and move throughout the store to shelve and organize inventory
What You’ll Do:
Assist customers with recommendations and purchases
Maintain tidy, organized shelves and displays
Operate the register and handle transactions
Support store events and daily operations
