Office Operations Manager

Overview

Wyoming Corporate Office is looking for a hands-on Office Operations Manager!

We help businesses get started and stay supported in Wyoming and we’re looking for a leader who can develop great people, run a strong operation, and help us continue building our presence here in Sheridan.

If you’re local, you may already know our building, or have heard things about the businesses operating here. Historically, we haven’t done enough to open our doors, explain what we do, or build strong relationships within the community. We’re changing that. We want to be a business and employer Sheridan knows, understands, and trusts, and our Hub Manager will play a big part in making that happen.

This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk management role. You’ll learn the work your team does, jump in alongside them, coach and develop employees, solve problems, and own the day-to-day operation. We give our leaders autonomy and want someone who can make good decisions and keep things moving without needing a policy for every situation.

Wage

$100,000 / year with starting salary based on experience, leadership background, and overall qualifications.

Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees
  • Annual review with raise option
  • 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays
    • After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Employees transition to flexible time off after 5 years with the company—not accrued, not capped, take time off when you want
    • The 4 holidays are: New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Up to 6% company matching 401(k) with no vesting period
  • Quarterly allowance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop your team – Hire, train, coach, and hold employees accountable while building a strong, collaborative team.
  • Learn the business and stay involved – Become an expert in the work your team handles and jump into day-to-day tasks alongside them regularly.
  • Own the operation – Manage productivity, quality, workload, and client experience while solving problems and improving how work gets done.
  • Lead through change – Learn new systems and processes quickly and help your team adapt as our technology and business evolve.
  • Build our Sheridan presence – Develop genuine relationships with local organizations, agencies, business partners, and community members.

Requirements

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Comfortable setting expectations, giving direct feedback, and holding people accountable.
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside your team.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, including the ability to figure things out when there isn't an obvious answer.
  • Clear, respectful, and direct communication.
  • Comfortable learning new technology, systems, and processes.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of problems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and keep daily operations moving.
