JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Host/Hostess & Driver – Tongue River Vally (TRV) Meals Site
Location: TRV Community Center, 1100 Main Street, Dayton WY 82836
Reports to: TRV Program Coordinator
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Meal Delivery & Service
- Ensure eligible individuals receive timely and reliable home delivered meals, while identifying and communicating potential new participants who may benefit from the program.
- Provide a welcoming and efficient on-site congregate meal experience that promotes nutrition and social engagement.
- Prepare and maintain dining areas to ensure safe, organized, and guest-ready meal service.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Serve food in strict compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations, ensuring safe consumption for all participants.
- Collaborate with supervisor to ensure continuity of service.
- Complete all required cleaning and sanitation duties daily, including proper dishwashing and kitchen maintenance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with program requirements.
- Immediately report health or safety concerns regarding participants or program operations to supervisor.
Vehicle & Asset Management
- Consistently follow traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and organizational safety standards to protect self and the public.
- Strictly adhere to organizational procedures in the event of an accident.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) to ensure a safe and professional environment.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report vehicle maintenance needs; fuel vehicles, and submit required receipts to ensure operational readiness.
Compliance & Communication
- Report any traffic citations to supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all organizational confidentiality policies to protect participant information.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers and coworkers while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the organization's goals and operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Coachable with a willingness to learn and adapt to a changing workflow.
- Initiative and ability to work as a team member.
- Able to problem solve and remain flexible as circumstances change.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
- Strong skills in interacting with others.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
- Employment is dependent on ability to pass a Central Registry and Division of Criminal Investigations background check.
Physical Demands
·Frequently transfers, lifts and positions objects. Stoops and bends on a regular basis.

·Regularly observes and assesses clients and volunteers.
·May drive in inclement weather.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Experience working with the public, older adults, or people with disabilities helpful.
- Food service experience preferred.
