Marketing Assistant - Buffalo, WY

Summary/Objective: The Marketing Assistant works closely with the Marketing Director on day-to-day marketing activities. This position involves assisting with research, reporting, tracking marketing projects, and supporting events, sponsorships, and community involvement. The role emphasizes administrative and support functions, helping ensure consistency across bank-wide marketing initiatives.
 

Essential functions:

  • Assist with planning and implementing community branch events and PR campaigns.
  • Help when needed to assist with media posts, photos, promotional items, and giveaways.
  • Assist with ordering marketing supplies, maintain branch inventory, and track expenses.
  • Assist in preparing materials for marketing meetings and support the Marketing Director.
  • Develop and post content for newsletters and employee intranet.
  • Assist in managing surveys and in-house marketing platforms, such as lobby TV’s and phones.
  • Attend community events to facilitate their success and participate in community involvement events.
  • Travel to other FNB branch locations when needed for marketing meetings, coordinating/assisting with events, and any other logistics required associated with the position.
  • Develops working knowledge of the Marketing Coordinator role and serves as backup as necessary.
  • Actively participate in customer, community, and public relations activities to increase the bank’s visibility and enhance new business opportunities.
  • Additional duties as assigned, as they relate to the position.

Education/Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a College degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in banking or marketing preferred.
  • A highly motivated, positive, and organized individual with excellent communication skills is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

 

Supervisory:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and may serve as a mentor for other positions in the organization.

 

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle, and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
