Position: Control Room Operator

Sheridan County Detention Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Control Operator. This position requires working some holidays and weekends. 

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:

• Help maintain the safety and security of Detention staff and inmates by monitoring cameras throughout the facility
• Maintain accurate records of officer and inmate movements and interactions
• Help Detention Officers enforce detention center rules
• Must have communication skills to interact with fellow staff, inmates and general public
• Supervise inmate workers during inside work activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Operate 2-way radios

Job Type: Full - Time

Pay Rate: $18.44 per hour
