We’re looking for reliable, friendly, and motivated individuals to help keep our beautiful community park clean, safe, and welcoming throughout the summer season.
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator, Seasonal Staff are responsible for daily operations, grounds maintenance, and providing a positive experience for all park visitors. This is an active, outdoor role perfect for someone who enjoys working outside and engaging with the community.
- Open and close park facilities
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service to park visitors
- Monitor park activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Respond to questions, concerns, and general inquiries
- Perform daily cleaning of restrooms and common areas
- Sweep and maintain walking paths
- Assist with lawn care, gardening and landscaping
- Communicate maintenance or safety needs to the coordinator
- Stay informed on park events and activities
- Monitor all park areas (playground, paths, restrooms, green spaces) for safety
- Provide First Aid/CPR response if needed
- Support a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to problem-solve and handle changing priorities
- Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs
- Must be 18+
- Valid driver’s license and insurability
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass a background check
