Open Position: Senior buildings and grounds Worker, Full-Time, M-F 8am to 5pm, Hours may flex with snow removal
Rate of Pay: $46,723.09 to $49,088.44 DOE, Grade 14

Position description: This position supervises and participates in the maintenance of county buildings and grounds.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Snow removal
- Repairs plumbing systems.
- Unstop sewage and drain lines.
- Services air conditioning and heating units.
- Distribute janitorial supplies to county buildings.
- Mows lawns and trims weeds; shrubbery.
- Perform janitorial duties in assigned buildings; mops and vacuums floors; cleans restrooms; cleans windows; collects litter.
- Paint building interiors and exteriors.
- Maintains and repairs lawn equipment.
- Assist in the set-up for special events.
- Maintains and repairs sprinkler systems.
- Performs/documents daily functions on computer systems.
- Performs over related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of building and grounds maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, and mechanical repair and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning and upkeep of buildings
- Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.
- Skill in maintenance, repair, and operation of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years’ experience or service.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Wyoming for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
