Landfill technician

The City of Sheridan is looking for a motivated, organized, detail-oriented and personable individual to join the Landfill team as a Landfill Technician. This position is responsible for performing technical duties related to the landfill’s household hazardous waste, gas and water monitoring, and operations functions. Qualified applicants should have a high regard for safety practices and excellent customer service skills, as this position often interacts with the public and other City divisions. . The starting wage for this position is $23.14 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and a wellness program.
