HOUSEKEEPER
Ucross Foundation is seeking an experienced and energetic housekeeper to join our team on our beautiful artist residency campus.
The Ucross Housekeeper creates a clean, comforting environment that helps to foster the creative spirit of artists-in-residence from around the world, as well as visitors to the Ucross Art Gallery, historic Big Red Ranch House, and the Raymond Plank Center. The ideal candidate will have a warm, welcoming nature, a high standard of excellence, and strong communications skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a routine work schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis, cleaning 8-10 buildings, including artist studios, kitchens, restrooms, bedrooms, offices, an art gallery, and a conference facility, as well as other buildings, as needed
- Oversees and communicates inventory of cleaning/residency supplies
- Assists with set-up and break-down of meetings, conferences, and community and special events as needed, as well as mid-conference support
- Supports with special events, which may include occasional nights and weekends
- Represents Ucross to the public with a positive attitude and demonstrates strong personal commitment to the organization’s mission and activities
- Works well with fellow staff members, artists, board members, guests, and others in a congenial and respectful way
- Other duties and projects as assigned
HOURS & BENEFITS
- Year-round, full-time, 35 hours per week
- $21.14 per hour, with a generous benefits package, including:
