Big Horn Diesel is growing, and we’re looking for an additional Parts Specialist to join our team!
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and has an interest in diesel trucks, heavy-duty equipment, and automotive parts. The Parts Specialist will play an important role in helping our technicians and customers get the right parts when they need them.

Position Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and order heavy-duty truck and diesel parts
- Assist technicians with locating parts and identifying components
- Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability
- Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming parts
- Maintain accurate parts inventory
- Prepare parts for technician work orders
- Assist customers with parts questions and requests
- Process parts returns, warranties, and core returns
- Compare pricing and availability to help ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Maintain an organized and clean parts department
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the shop management system
- Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and customers
- Perform other parts-related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous parts experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Knowledge of diesel trucks, heavy-duty equipment, or automotive parts is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy shop environment
- Comfortable using computers and inventory/order-entry systems
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as needed
- Detail-oriented with good follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver's license
